The reason they snowball isn't because their troops are better, it's because the AI controlled factions/lords can't deal with the advantages they have as a faction. 2) Reject it, and just leave his faction with no fiefs at all (lose all your fiefs, but won't be at war with him) 3) Reject it and rebel.
